Once In A Blue Moon

Waddup peeps....to any of you all that somehow manage to stumble upon this blog that's clearly only ONE member of this JOINT blog that do the updating.

So....where to begin? Well let's begin with diecast.

Yes.

When I was in Australia, I went...berserk. I bought so many diecast in Australia that I almost overweight my 30kg limit. So now that I'm back in KL, I got myself some new diecast. Owh yea.

Don't be hatin and start participatin.

So let's see.....

BMW M5 from Kyosho
This is a new release from Kyosho and the colour is Carbon Black but LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE! It's not black. It's more like a Navy Blue with metallic flakes. Overall...nice model.

BMW M6 from Kyosho
This on the other hand is the M6 from Kyosho as well. Colour...well it's pure white and not really my favourite colour but I've been looking for an M6 for quite a while so...yea...don't be hatin.

BMW M3 from Kyosho
Yet another model from Kyosho and this is my favourite because this white is not pure white but a metallic Pearl White. Under the sun this colour absolutely pop.....shine through.....comes alive....u know....becomes nicer.

Ferrari F430 Coupe from BBR
Now. This Ferrari. My god. This model is just...a gem. I mean....actually...yea...it's a gem. The colour is Pure White but its super, super, super nice. Along with those challenge rims in gun-metal-ish colour. Superb.

Technically...this model, sort of, needs to awesome because its hand made by some mad Italians. The F430 is made out of 800 different piece(compared to about...10 or 20 from Maisto/Bburago). Apart from that, it cost a whopping $350AUD. Yeap I know this cost alot when convert back to RM but I think it's kinda cheap because ToyCity in Mid Valley sells one of the BBR F430 for RM2k.

And its limited to just 1008 pieces worldwide. And it comes with a certificate. And it....it...um...actually thats it.

The reason why this model cost an arm, a leg, 2 eyes, 4 ears....3 nose?.......and maybe 2000 strands of hair is because the details are just immaculate. The interior is beautiful, with "real" leather, the sun visor can be moved...very nice. The vents are all metal mesh and not a solid piece of plastic like on most budget models.

The hinges are absolutely cool as well. It's sort of like a hydraulic thingy and also....it comes with 3 small leather bags that fits perfectly into the boot at the front.

This is a shot with my other BBR F430. This is the F430 Spyder version finished in Daytona Black with Black rims that's a special release in China. This model cost about the same as the F430 Coupe but this is much more exclusive. Only 459 worldwide.

So to conclude....I LOVE MY FOUR NEW MODELS!! I LOVE IT!!

The final shot is a group shot of my 3 F430. The middle on is the F430 Scuderia made by Hot Wheels but that's for another post.

Now, moving onto my time in Australia. I guess I should post up some of my assignments when I was in Australia.

I had one subject called Design Systems & Services. It sounds super boring and it sorta is but in the end I think I learned alot from this subject because...it's something new.

This subject, basically, asks us to pick a water-saving thingy....like rainwater catchments....which is the topic my group went for. Essentially, it's all about icons and trying to communicate how the whole system works using icons and mind mapping techniques.

Quite cool actually.

This is the mind map that we came up with. Obviously its longer and bigger than this but then it would take all day to upload and stuff...nah.

The next subject is about doing a proposal/campaign that ask people to value their hands. Well when I say people, it only targets Victoria residents.

I chose "The Hand Story Project" as my title name. YEAAAHHH.

Posters and goody bags...just some of the items that I did.

While the pages are suppose to resemble the inside of a diary...you know. Hand written diary thingy. Don't laugh.

I have 2 more subjects but I just can't squeeze everything in to one post. So I'll post it up the next update...which I hope is soon.

p.s anyone who hasn't watch Psych..please...watch it. Don't be a giant snapping turtle and a gooey chocolate chip cookie. Go watch it.

another p.s what was the last comment on my last post that was deleted?? eh??

U-Turn for the win!!

"show me a woman who likes big dicks that are over 8 inches and i'll show you a whore and a loose cunt. period. the big dicks can have all the fat mama loose pussies they want. we don't want any.

you know why black women are less desirable? cuz their pussies are so loose you can drive a truck in it and make a u-turn."

okay. I found this comment on a website where they were talking about asian dicks and this comment is absolutely funny. I mean....I don't understand the last part but my god it's funny. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOOOOOLOOLLLLLLLL.

*obviously it has nothing to do with black women or whatever. just the comment.

Phail

Useless Sari. Super lazy! Eventhough it's like her term break now she can't find some time to update the blog!! Useless!

Anyway. I was surfing the net the other day....no wait..I mean today, I came across this ad. It's super, super, super, super, super fucked up.

Can you see the difference??

Can you?

If you can then good for you but if you can't then the difference is that the top ad is for...I guess...the world and the bottom one is for Poland.

You see those racist fucks actually photoshop-ed the Nelson Mendela look-alike fella and replace it with a white boy. Now I guess it would be fine if they actually took the time to reshoot the whole ad with a real white boy but no. They actually replaced the head with a white boy but totally forgot to replace the hand.

They're totally fine with the asian-looking dude but not the slightly brown skin dude.

GREAT WORK!

We're living in the 21st century for god sake! Update your blardy calendars you stupid poles!!

And...

Speaking of ads, I can't stand ads for weight loss thingy. I mean first of all...it's sizecist and thats wrong. Secondly, they're always and I mean ALWAYS badly done.

Eventhough the ads for wight lossing product are wrong, they're ads none the less and therefore deserve to be done properly.

This for instance....isn't.

Apart from the fact that I can't tell whats the difference in terms of size from the two pictures, they clearly forgot to mention that besides losing weight you would also need to go under the knife to remove your pigments.

Come on! Not all humans are as blind as the designer and the owner of this stupid company!

That is the phail of all phial.

And...just as I was about to post this...post, I came across this ad just in time!

check out the full version of the ad - http://www.jeremysgriffin.com/post/152263522/workout-fail

It's called Shake Weight but it's known within the company as Wanker Tosser....and that's not true.

But anyway, have you ever seen a more stupid piece of device? Somehow the gadgets that make your body look better just seem to be catastrophically embarrassing to use. Just look at all the Osim shit. Ishake, Ijump, Iwobble, Ihip-bending-and-stomach-twister, Ishake-all-of-my-food-from-my-stomach-just-so-I-can-look-like-an-idiot etc etc.

This though..takes the cake for taking it to the extreme!

The designer must be a) a 15 year old perv called Benny or b) a 21 year old slut that likes to work out while fulfilling her desires called Megan.

Epic PHAIL!

I don't know what title I should put for this post so yea...no title I guess

Its been aaaaaaaaaaages since I last posted. Damm. Lol.

So a few things to get through quickly.

1. This has been one of the hardest month in my life. I mean...seriously hard. Its really tough. I mean unless you're me..you really have no idea how hard this month has been for me. I mean life goes on but how can one go on without TopGear!?? Yes people, TopGear season 13 just ended a couple of weeks and it wont come back till November. November!? That's like...14 years!

Yes. TopGear is a car show and therefore it's quite predictable that I would watch it but I kid you not in saying that if you are interested in video editing or film or anything like that, just watch it even if you hate cars. The reason is because their video editing for the car reviews is absolutely fantastic! It is staggeringly good. The camera angle, the colours, the flow, the creativeness is just fab-bleeding-tastic.

Just to show you what I mean, I've kindly provided a few shots of the reviews that I think is absolutely awesome. This one is for the BMW Z4 & Nissan 370Z.

I mean what makes TopGear so special is that they treat every review as a separate entity. Every review has soul and character and personality. I mean...dinosaurs? Who would have thought of using dinosaurs in car reviews!?

This though has got to be my favourite review from all of the 13 seasons. The Mercedes SL Black.

Obviously 6 screen shots doesn't do it justice but it is just so artistic. It's just...beautiful.

It has come to a stage where I don't watch TopGear because of the cars anymore but because I just want to see the reviews and how the actually do each one and making them...interesting.

So yea...damm. November.

2. More car news because, as some of you already know, I'm in Australia now. Generally a nice country, nice city, terrible weather, good food, nice people...you know etc etc. What I really like about Melbourne is that the sheer amount of nice cars around here. 3series Coupes are like Gen-2. Tonnes of them! Along with X5's, Cayenne's, 911's, 1series', SLK's, CLK's, Z4's. All of those cars I can easily see hundreds of them in a day.

A good change of scenery from all of the Saga's, Iswara's of KL.

3. My uni is called Swinburne but really it should be called Swinburne a.k.a 2nd home of TOA students. I honestly think there are less Malaysian students in TOA than there are in my uni. It just incredible to see the amount of TOA students there.

I mean yes, it isn't really such a bad thing because it makes settling in a new environment easier but you know it's sort of like...buying a Rolex only to find out later that the parts are all Casio. It sort of...defeats the purpose. But anyway, the learning environment is really different from TOA and the teaching methods are also different. Lecturers and students are more involve and more willing to help.

So that is the best thing about going abroad.

4. Before I left, I manage to squeeze in a couple of movies under my belt. Ice Age 3 and Half Blood Prince.

Ice Age 3 was really, really enjoyable. Better than the first Ice Age but not sure about the 2nd because I think I didn't watch it. Anyway, good movie, good storyline, good jokes, good character(esp the eye-patch-jack-sparrow-personality animal fella). So yea. Really nice movie. Not surprising really as I have yet to watch a...how to say...REALLY, REALLY terrible animation film...apart from Final Fantasy.

Harry Potter. Now that is a surprise. Why? Because the first 5 movies were...dreadful. The only reason why I even watch it is because of Hermione : ) Yes. (Don't laugh. Every one likes Emma Watson)

This is totally...nice actually. I mean..yes...when I mean nice I'm not saying Dark Knight or Be Cool or Lord of The Rings or Oceans nice. What I meant by nice is that...it is a Harry Potter movie that I can understand without reading the book. Why? It's because when I went to watch the movie, I actually forgot practically everything about the book apart from the moment in the cave and Dumbledore dying. That's it.

After watching the movie, I felt as if my Harry Potter knowledge has increase because the movie actually provides relevant information while blending in some of the not-so-important parts like Qu...id...ditch(???) and those won-won kissing parts and Weasley's house magically got burnt down.

I'm not, for a moment, going to suggest that Half Blood Prince is an epic movie that will resonate hearts and minds around the world. Nope. Not even close. But somehow its the first Harry Potter film that doesn't leave me frustrated or confused and that is a saying something.

28th july post, bitches

guess who's 21 today?

***

Posting your favourite song is so overrated. But i'm going to anyway?
So all through my old man years I've gone through many shitty music phases. There was my jrock phase, my feng tau phase(oh yeah i'm still thereeeee), my shitty floppy hair emo phase, but through it all I've been a solid STEREOPHONICS fan for a good 8 years.

Whats not to like? SO SO GOOD vocals, perfect manly voice. Expressive. Crazy heavy on the bass guitar. Chill tempo. MOOD FEELING. Possibly the only band that sounds EVEN BETTER in concerts. Light years in quality from any band I've seen

BAM!
(turn the volume up)

Theyre the only band that have never made me feel like a girl listening with starry eyes; I dont have a huge omg crush on the singer or whatever. It always has honestly been about the voice and the music? But now i realise lead Kelly Jones is probably the catalyst of my penchant for angry looking guys. Ha. Subconsciously.

Even sexy girls can't beat this

2 years ago, roughly around the same time as it is now, one of the most awesome movies to puncture through these eyes was released. To be honest, at the time I wasn't really expecting much from it. I thought it was just going to be another movie base on a cartoon/comic with some special effects, big-name actors and director and big budget. I thought it was going to be a Ghost Rider.

But how can I possibly be more wrong?

The movie was stunning to say the least. Superb at the beginning, astonishing at the end. I liked it so much that it prompted me to visit the cinema 6 times. SIX! And until now, two years later, it still manages to
flabbergast me. The robots were so real and amazing and the action scenes were really action scenes and not just some people running while the camera shakes. And ofcourse, the transformation were the creme de la creme of the movie. Nothing that I've seen so far have even come close to matching it interms of special effects.

Obviously I wasn't the only one as it went on to become one of the biggest movies of all time. It easily
blitzes any movie from that year and last year and this year, apart from The Dark Knight I suppose which it just beat...not...blitz.

Anyway 2 years on and now there is a sequal out. It's called The Revenge of the Fallen...I think. Abit corny but hey..who cares!? Not quite sure what the plot is going to be about but I presume it has something to do with Megatron coming back to life and seeking revenge or something? It's only an assumption.

3 hours later........

How the hell can they even call that a movie!?

It is a disgrace!!

It's absolute pornography!! It was an absolute eye rape!!

Honestly, I've not had that sort of entertainment from a movie since....um....well...the movie....uhh...that movie...no wait...that mov...no wait thats not it....errrrrr.....got it!

no wait. thats not it either. ummmmmmm.....

.......umm......

....well since......never.

This movie is absolutely, mind-blowingly, fab-bleeding-tastic! There is just no words for it.

But what made me liked the movie sooooo much is the fact that I watched it on Thursday. Which was 2 days after the premier and in that 2 days I've heard alot of comments regarding the movie aaaaand....they've all been poor actually. Therefore I went to watch this movie with my heart sort of preparing to be dissapointed with it and not expecting really too much from it.

So I was ready to be dissapointed but I'm soooo not dissapointed. I mean people have said that the movie wasn't that great because it had too many robots and that it was hard to keep track of each one and that the plot is kinda rubbish but who cares!!??

I mean...having too many robots!? How is that a bad thing!? That is like saying Sports Illustrated Magazine has too many pages or that sex is too long. I mean...come on. The point of a Transformers movie is the robots. So why not have as many as they possibly can? Its not rocket science. You don't need to keep track of every robot in the same way that you don't need to keep track of every single extras in a movie. They're there to just make things better. As a back-up to Bumblebee or Optimus or Starscream because, and I'm pretty sure about this, if they didn't have those extra robots people would then say why is it that Michael Bay is bias towards the main characters. Simple. And it's good entertainment.

Regarding the plot, again...come on! Who cares if the plot is abit wonky and abit disorientating or that it's not as easy to follow? Watching this movie for its plot is like watching a porn film for its plot. The fact is that you don't.

You watch Transformers because you want to see those amazing robots transforming. You want to see Megatron fighting Optimus. You want to see Bumblebee dashing from one scene to another in that Camaro with the V8 rumble. You want to hear metal slicing against another metal. You want to see action! And that is what this movie provides. Pure adrenaline in the same way that Six Sense can never be an action movie because it is about the plot, the drama, the pain in the boy's eyes. And it's actually quite funny too with a certain Sector 7 favourite from the first movie.

If you're the sort of person who thinks The Devil Wears Prada is exciting the this probably isn't gonna be your kind of movie but if you're a normal human being than this is a must watch. Go there, forget about the plot or even trying to understand the movie and just enjoy the awesome special effects and action scenes because deep down inside, there is always a 10 year old in you that begs for this kind of movie. Just pure entertainment.
